Recap: Pow Wow Hawaii 2013!

Knockaround was stoked to be a part of this year’s Pow Wow Hawaii.

Pow Wow is a week-long event where hundreds of artists, designers, and creatives converge to produce new work on outdoor walls in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Founded several years ago by Jasper Wong, Pow Wow has grown to become one of the most talked-about art festivals in the world. Roaming the streets of Kaka’ako (a commercial / industrial area of Honolulu), the Knockaround crew talked with both local and visiting artists, shot video, took photos, and immersed ourselves in everything Pow Wow. Art, collaboration, community… all in Hawaii! I can’t imagine a more perfect event for Knockaround to be a part of. Just take a look at the photos.

Big thanks to Jasper and everyone at Pow Wow for letting us take part. Stay tuned for the release of the video we shot… and the release of 500 pairs of Limited Edition Pow Wow Fort Knocks. -Ace
