Limited Edition Nacho Premiums!

It’s time to bust out the hot sauce and your giving spirit! As part of our new charitable program, Knockaround Class Acts, we are pre-selling these Limited Edition Nacho Premiums on the crowdfunding website Indiegogo.

Designed by 5th-grader Vanessa F. from Lee Elementary, the sunglasses feature a Southwest-orange and jalapeño-green frame, yellow sunset lenses, and a geometric tortilla chip pattern. Introducing: Knockaround Class Acts

On November 1st, Knockaround is taking you to school. We are excited to introduce Knockaround Class Acts, a campaign which aims to donate money, resources, and art supplies to underfunded elementary schools.

You might remember our trip to Hilltop Elementary in 2012 when a fifth grader named Sebastian designed the Shark Attack Premiums. 200 pairs of these shark themed Limited Editions went into production and sold out in under an hour. As a result, we were able to donate $5 from every pair to purchase new art supplies for Sebastian’s school.

Well, we’re at it again. Over the last few weeks the Knockaround crew visited three elementary schools in the San Diego area. We held a design contest and received over 300 submissions. We’ve selected an awesome winning design to share with the world.

We will be pre-selling the glasses on Indiegogo.com during the month of November. That way, everyone who wants a pair, gets a pair, and we can maximize our potential donation. 100% of the money raised during our November campaign will be given back to the participating elementary schools, and ArtReach, our partnering non-profit organization which facilitates art education in underfunded elementary schools around San Diego.
