Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and ambitious individual to join our team as International Sales Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a strategic sales plan to significantly grow Knockaround’s international business. In addition to managing existing distribution, this position will solicit and contract new distributors in foreign markets.

 

Responsibilities
  • Work with Head of Sales to develop and execute a sales strategy for Knockaround international business including goal setting, channel development and in-market activation to drive revenue growth
  • Contract distributors in new markets and replace underperforming distributors
  • Work directly with international distributors to develop market specific growth plans, inventory planning and forecasting
  • Manage direct to consumer strategy in regional markets in partnership with local distributors
  • Manage order processing, supply chain and customs clearance documentation for international orders
  • Work with warehouse staff to coordinate and manage international inventory
  • Develop, manage and distribute international specific sales assets including product catalogs, digital content and wholesale collateral
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings with design, production, production planning, marketing and finance to support international initiatives
  • Provide reporting for Head of Sales and Knockaround leadership

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in sales, or related field
  • Proven experience in International Sales Management
  • Strong understanding of international trade regulations and import/export compliance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and insights to drive informed decision-making
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with diverse audiences
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Docs

Expected salary: $90k - $110k

This position will be full-time and will be based in San Diego at the Knockaround HQ.
