NEW! Gotham City’s Dynamic Duo of Disorder: The Joker & Harley Quinn

The Longhairs and The Great Cut

The Longhairs and The Great Cut

December 7, 2018

Our local San Diego-based buds over at The Longhairs paid us a visit here at Knockaround HQ. They rolled thru not only to say hi, but to talk long hair, The Great Cut, breaking world records, and…a damn cool collaboration we have here on the horizon. All of this was documented in the form of a podcast, which we’ve got for you to listen to below.

That being said, we’re excited to announce we are sponsoring The Great Cut, where The Longhairs will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the largest hair donation in history. Content creators and proprietors of Hair Ties For Guys, The Longhairs appeared on season 9 of Shark Tank, where they landed a deal with Mark Cuban.

They’re organizing The Great Cut to benefit Children With Hair Loss, who make wigs for children who can’t grow their own hair. The event goals are to perform 2,000 haircuts and donate 200 lbs. of hair to help raise $200k for the benefiting charity.

We’ve been friends with The Longhairs for some time now and have worked together on several behind-the-scenes projects in the past. So, when they approached us to sponsor their upcoming, record-breaking event, there was no hesitation. “Hell yeah, we’re in!”. And, we think you’ll be excited that we did…because a super-duper cool pair of sunglasses are going to come out of it. Listen for a sneak peek description!

Can you get behind this campaign? Visit the GoFundMe for The Great Cut, where you can make a tax-deductible donation, register to donate your hair, or volunteer to cut hair.

To the Longhairs, thank you fellas for hooking it up with the podcast. It was a pleasure! Give our boys a visit.
