Modeled after the iconic Curtiss P-40s flown by the AVG, the Flying Tigers sunglasses are instantly recognizable. An olive-forest camouflage base paints the frame while metal seams and rows of rivets mimic the crafts’ armored hulls. Down each arm snarls the squadron’s distinctive nose art—a menacing shark face no enemy would want to stare down. A white star emblem and bright red end cap finish off each arm, while polarized sky blue lenses and shining silver K logos lend the pair a final touch of airworthy authority.
Designed on our most full-coverage frame style, the Torrey Pines provide extra-wide lens coverage, UV400 protection (like all of our lenses), and spring hinges to accommodate even the largest faces. Every pair comes with an “At Altitude” protective pouch and a holographic numbered edition card.

In 2022, Knockaroud officially became Plastic Neutral—for every pound of plastic we use, we remove one pound from the environment elsewhere. But that’s far from where our sustainability efforts end. We’ve also implemented minimalist, recycled packaging, eliminated single-use plastics, and included recycled materials in our products whenever possible. There’s always more progress to be made, but we’re committed to putting in the work.
Stay Glare Aware
Polarized lenses cut glare by filtering out horizontal light waves, like the ones that bounce off water or the road. Without this glare, you’re left with a more gentle view and reduced eye strain, not to mention crisper, cleaner details!
