The Kryptorian escape from Earth was something nobody could have predicted. After peaceful protests against a totalitarian government sparked into all out conflict, the Kryptorians, the united people of Web3, emerged from the shadows of nearly every major city in the world. Beneath the warm SoCal sunshine of San Diego, in the dazzling light of the French Alps, everywhere the sun fell, they fought a bloody guerilla war against the oppressive forces of Web2. As the struggle for freedom escalated, the Fed, thecentral power of government, razed city after city. In a desperate attempt to tip the scales back in their favour, the Kryptorians stormed a secret Fed facility filled with futuristic technology. Then, 10,000 of them disappeared. In the ensuing mayhem, those of us who were left behind heard rumours of a Portal, eerily glowing blue. Of a new world, free from control. Those who had departed for the Facility had dreamed of a place they could build a new home, a utopia. All they left behind were fragments. Plans, tech and weapons never seen before. Some of us were lucky enough to find goggles, technologically advanced and available only in limited quantities...
