About the Position

Working closely with our Marketing, Design, and IT teams, the Digital Marketing Analyst is instrumental in driving new customer acquisition and strengthening customer retention through development and management of digital marketing campaign. This role will be responsible for continuously analyzing e-commerce and online marketing data, provide actionable insights and recommendations, and lead the implementation of new online initiatives across all channels. The Digital Marketing Analyst will play a key role in creating a culture of testing, analyzing, and optimizing in order to constantly improve the online user experience.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Campaign Management

  • Develop and manage paid social ad campaigns. Analyze historical data to improve ad performance and ROI
  • Create and manage behavior-triggered email flows, run A/B and multivariant tests to optimize open, click-thru, and conversion rates
  • Manage paid search campaigns, monitor performance, and provide actionable insights and recommendations on an ongoing basis
  • Work with external agency to set up, manage, and monitor ad campaigns on Amazon
  • Manage outside marketing vendors and work with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of ad creatives and other campaign specific deliverables
  • Set up and manage onsite campaigns. Run A/B and multivariant tests and utilize heat maps to drive conversions and improve the online user experience
  • In collaboration with external agency, monitor and manage affiliate marketing campaigns to ensure agreed upon performance metrics are met
  • Utilize historical data and ongoing testing to improve the level of personalization and behavior-based messaging across all channels
  • Come up with creative and on-brand strategies and campaigns to drive new customer acquisition, strengthen customer retention, and ultimately boost revenue

Digital Marketing

  • Develop and maintain web content, including product pages and campaign-specific landing pages
  • Create and manage website meta-data and apply SEO best practices across and
  • Analyze web traffic and utilize SEO research tools to improve Knockaround’s content marketing strategy
  • Curate and publish user-generated content utilizing 3rd party applications
  • Create, optimize, and maintain product pages on, and ensure all pages are search optimized. Work with Production team to forecast demand and adjust inventory levels accordingly
  • Test, troubleshoot, and provide feedback on new features and implementations across all web properties
  • Stay up to date on new trends, customer acquisition strategies, and emerging digital channels, and provide suggestions for new initiatives and revenue drivers

Reporting and Budgeting

  • On an ongoing basis, analyze e-commerce and marketing campaign data across all channels, summarize performance metrics along with industry benchmarks, and present recommendations based on findings
  • In collaboration with supervisor, determine and manage allocated ad spending across all ad platforms 
  • Own the development and internal distribution of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual digital marketing and e-commerce reports
  • Ad hoc reporting as needed

Other Duties as Needed

  • Including but not limited to: developing customer satisfaction surveys and assisting with Customer Service tickets

Education & Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Marketing, Business)
  • 2-3 years of experience with digital marketing and/or e-commerce
  • Proficient with MS Office, in particular Excel
  • Extensive experience with Google Analytics and Google Ads
  • Proven track record of paid social media ads creation and management
  • Experience working with e-commerce platforms (Shopify a plus) and basic knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Extensive experience analyzing digital performance metrics (conversion rate, bounce rate, click-thru rate, attribution modeling etc.), and performing A/B testing across channels and creatives
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Email Service Providers and trigger-based email flow creation. Experience with Klaviyo a plus
  • Deep understanding of customer segmentation, personalization, and behavioral marketing
  • Basic graphic design skills and experience with Adobe Photoshop preferred
  • Experience with Amazon Seller Central a plus
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
