Best Bottomless Mimosa Brunch Spots in San Diego
May 30, 2019
Brunch is already one of the best parts of the weekend—throw in an endless flow of mimosas and you and your besties are guaranteed to have yourselves one heck of a day. Fortunately, San Diego has a number of great brunch spots that offer bottomless mimosas. Here are 12 of the best options.
1. The Patio on Lamont
The Patio on Lamont, located on—you guessed it—Lamont Street in Pacific Beach, has one of the best brunch menus in San Diego, and their bottomless mimosas just make it that much better! Bathe in a river of mimosas on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (well, a shallow river; there is a two-hour limit for mimosa-drinkers). Note that The Patio also offers a weekday brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. (sans mimosas, sadly).
2. The Red Door
This award-winning Mission Hills eatery serves ethically sourced, seasonal cuisine. In addition to lunch, dinner, and happy hour, Red Door offers an excellent Sunday brunch with choices such as house-made cinnamon buns, biscuits and gravy, chilaquiles, a short rib benny, and a range of handcrafted pastas. And to top it all off, you can wash these down with $12 bottomless mimosas and bellinis.
3. Duck Dive
Want a side of beach with your mimosa(s)? Head to Duck Dive in Pacific Beach, located just steps from the ocean. Duck Dive is open from morning to late night every day and brunch is served daily until 1 p.m. Bottomless mimosas will set you back $17.50 and are available from Monday to Friday until 1 p.m. and until 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
4. The 3rd Corner
Part wine shop, part French-inspired California bistro, the 3rd Corner is the perfect choice for mimosa aficionados. The 3rd Corner offers brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; “almost” bottomless champagne mimosas are $11. They also have a great happy hour and late-night menu.
5. King and Queen Cantina
King and Queen Cantina serves award-winning modern Mexican cuisine in the heart of San Diego’s Little Italy neighborhood. In addition to dinner and a daily happy hour, the restaurant offers brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Make it a true fiesta and order the bottomless champagne or mimosas for $15.
6. Bare Back
Bare Back is a New Zealand-inspired eatery in Pacific Beach. In addition to burgers and craft beers, Bare Back serves breakfast daily until 1 p.m.; the menu includes $2 mimosas and $5 Bloody Marys every day until 3 p.m. (not exactly bottomless—but almost!).
7. The Local
The Local, located in the heart of downtown San Diego, offers lunch, dinner, cocktails, and a large selection of beers on tap (many of them local, living up to their name). They also serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday, which includes $15 bottomless bubbles until 3pm.
8. Baja Betty’s
Hillcrest institution Baja Betty’s offers not only bottomless bubbles but also a bottomless buffet, every Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The brunch buffet is $15.95 and bottomless mimosas or sangria is $13.95. And for those of you who like to live on the edge, they also offer bottomless bubbles from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday to Friday. ¡Salud!
9. Sugar and Scribe Bakery
Sugar and Scribe is the home of Food Network champ Chef Maeve. This award-winning La Jolla establishment is part sit-down restaurant, part bakery, and part coffee bar. Breakfast and lunch are offered all day, which gives you a deliciously large window to try what many consider the best breakfast in San Diego. Bottomless mimosas are $16 and come with orange, cranberry, or apple juice.
10. Garage Kitchen & Bar
Downtown eatery Garage Kitchen & Bar offers dinner daily and brunch on Saturday and Sunday, but you don’t have to wait to for the weekend to enjoy brunch; they also offer “blunch” Monday through Friday from 11am to 3pm. On the Blunch menu you’ll find a mixture of breakfast and lunch options, along with mimosas and Bloody Marys. While Garage doesn’t offer bottomless mimosas, we included it on the list because they offer $7 mimosas and $10 bottles of champagne with a carafe of orange juice, which is a great bang (and buzz) for your buck.
11. Voltaire Beach House
Looking for a dog-friendly mimosa-flowing brunch spot in OB? Look no further than Voltaire Beach House, an award-winning restaurant on Voltaire which offers lunch, dinner, happy hour, and weekend brunch, with bottomless mimosas for $14.95.
Head to East Village gastropub Bootlegger on Saturday or Sunday and get your bottomless mimosa on from opening until 1 p.m. Bootlegger is open every day until 2 a.m. and offers lunch, dinner, happy hour, craft beers, and cocktails, along with DJs on Friday and Saturday nights and trivia on Wednesday nights.
Have fun and remember to enjoy your mimosas responsibly!
