The skull and roses motif made famous by the Grateful Dead’s 1971 “untitled” album (fondly referred to by fans as Skull and Roses) has endured as a Dead Head favorite since its introduction. Why? We ship Monday to Friday from our warehouse here in San Diego, CA, with the exception of holidays. For most standard orders, shipping takes about 5-7 business days depending on your selected carrier method at checkout (please allow up to 12 days for custom shades). Get your order sooner with our priority mail, 2nd day air, or overnight domestic shipping options. Once your order has been handed off to the carrier, you’ll receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking information.

In 2022, Knockaroud officially became Plastic Neutral—for every pound of plastic we use, we remove one pound from the environment elsewhere. But that’s far from where our sustainability efforts end. We’ve also implemented minimalist, recycled packaging, eliminated single-use plastics, and included recycled materials in our products whenever possible. There’s always more progress to be made, but we’re committed to putting in the work.

Polarized lenses cut glare by filtering out horizontal light waves, like the ones that bounce off water or the road. Without this glare, you’re left with a more gentle view and reduced eye strain, not to mention crisper, cleaner details!

Making high-quality shades is the core of what we do, but inevitably that means we contribute to excess plastic byproduct. The idea of being a net drain on the environment doesn’t sit well with us, so we partnered with 4ocean to maintain plastic neutrality and work further to improve the environmental friendliness of our process.

Absolutely love these! They are polarized so it makes everyday driving so much better!
