Even if you’re not a die hard Dead Head, you’ve almost certainly seen this friendly fivesome before. First appearing on the back cover of the 1973 album History of the Grateful Dead, Volume One (Bear's Choice), the Dancing Bears* have stuck around as a staple of music iconography for 50 years. And just like the music of the Dead will never stop, we’re pretty sure the Dancing Bears aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.

Built to last on the fan-favorite Fort Knocks, this pair lets you bring some tie-dye Dancing Bears cheer along no matter where you’re headed!

*If you talk to a purist, they’ll tell you the bears are marching, not dancing. But like thousands of other Deads Heads already have, we’re happy to encourage alternative interpretations.

We ship Monday to Friday from our warehouse here in San Diego, CA, with the exception of holidays. For most standard orders, shipping takes about 5-7 business days depending on your selected carrier method at checkout (please allow up to 12 days for custom shades). A year later and still looking brand new

First of all, I am a sunglasses fanatic and I am a second generation Dead Head. I love playfulness of these frames and lenses. I have had my pair for almost a year and they are still holding up and looking brand new. I only wish these had the rubberized nose part, because I do have a problem with them slipping off the top of my head when I pull them up. This was the first paid I purchased but I also just took advantage of the BOGO and just ordered 2 more pairs of different glasses. I cannot wait for them to arrive!!!

Second pair I’ve bought that broke. Very brittle. Never owned glasses that broke so easy. They aren’t expensive so its not the end of the world but they also aren’t cheap

These shades just Keep on Truckin

Got these for my wife and, as a huge Dead fan, she loves them! They are her daily sunglasses and she has had them for a year with no issues. The Fort Knock frames are well built and the spring loaded hinge adds to the durability. And the carry bag really pops!
